Chinese scrolls

As part of the 24 house development of the Chinese International Practical Exhibition of Architecture (CIPEA) in Nanjing, Zhang Lei of AZL Architects has designed a four storey house with layered concrete walls resembling Chinese scrolls. 20 houses are planned for the site (but will not be lived in), with 11 by Chinese architects and 13 from international studios.
