Witt Istanbul

Design Hotel’s Witt Istanbul is tucked away in Cihangir District, one of the most up and coming neighbourhoods of Istanbul. Witt is definitely the place to stay for those who seek to get a slice of the bohemian enclave of Cihangir and live among its rather eccentric people.

Once the Istanbul office of advertising agency Ogilvy&Mather, Witt Istanbul was turned into a luxurious “metro-retro” boutique style hotel by ex-financier turned property mogul, Tuncel Toprak.

Witt Istanbul’s creative flair stems from its decorum and furniture, provided by designers from around the world, including from award-winning Istanbul-based designers Autoban, who custom made furniture for the hotel.

The hotel’s exquisite detailing – check out the plywood magnolia lamp and the bathroom fixtures from award winning Ross Lovegrove – bespoke design, coupled with stunning views of the Istanbul skyline have won Witt Istanbul many honours, including awards by Conde Nast Traveller, The Sunday Times Magazine and a place as a finalist for Best New Hotel by Wall Paper Magazine.
